I’m Juliana (hool·YAH·nah, she/her), a yoga and mindfulness facilitator providing 1:1 and group sessions online and in-person. I’m based in the Bay Area of California.
I offer guidance in the physical practice of yoga, breathwork, and concentration/meditation techniques; I adapt my offerings to serve the particular needs and wellbeing of each individual and group I work with.
I hold over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance certified training since 2015, primarily with my root teacher Hannah Muse. In recent years I have specialized in teaching restorative yoga, a practice of deep rest for our busy minds and bodies. I use a trauma sensitive approach in all my work, informed by my community and trainings I have taken with the Prison Yoga Project.
I am fluent in Spanish and English and operate on a sliding scale. The teachings are a gift! May we find balance between asking for what we need and giving freely.
I am a daughter of immigrants of mixed white and Indigenous ancestry, and I carry the culture of my family’s traditional homeland in the highlands of modern-day Jalisco, Mexico. I currently reside in the unceded lands of the Ramaytush, Muwekma, Lisjan and Awaswas peoples. If you do as well, you can join me in supporting rematriation by paying the Shuumi Land Tax.
